What have you been doing since you graduated?
I am filling out medical school applications for the fall of 2009. I have been taking certified nursing assistant and emergency medical technician classes so I can find a job in a hospital while waiting to hear about my medical school acceptance. I am also volunteering in the ER at North Memorial Medical Center. I recently bought a book titled Spanish for Healthcare Providers and I plan to brush up on my Spanish skills and learn sign language during the course of this year so that I will be able to communicate with the diverse group of patients physicians see here in the United States.
